Transportation

The venue is ~1.5 hr North of Denver, and the Estes Park Shuttle can transport you from the Denver Airport to Estes Park and back. We will provide shuttles or busses the day of the wedding to local cabins and hotels. Exact details will be updated when finalized. You could alternatively hike from the Denver airport to Della Terra... it's only 81 miles.

Lodging

Limited lodging (cabins) are available at Della Terra on a first-come-first served basis, sorry! Additional lodging we recommend is located along the main road of Estes Park, info available HERE!

Weather

Expect highs in the 60s and lows in the high-30s and 40s, perfect hiking weather. If by some fluke we get rained out there is alternate indoor space available we will take advantage of at the same location. This site will get updates and specific expected weather information as available.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Colorado provides some of the Nation's best hiking and outdoor activities. We will be spending some time after the wedding up in the mountains and you should too! Rocky Mountain National Park

Altitude

Della Terra is up at 8000+ ft of elevation and if you have not traveled at higher altitudes, be warned. Acute Mountain Sickness is a real possibility and alcohol is much more influential at high elevations.

Week Long Activities

Yes! We know September 22 is on a Tuesday but we hope you are able to make it out to be a part of our wedding! There are a ton of additional activities that week you may be interested in. For example, on the weekend after the wedding we will be heading to the Great American Beer Festival!

Andria has exquisite planning abilities and constantly encourages Olivia’s random ideas- making her Maid of Honor. Most of their adventures include traveling, sunburns, dogs, and something unexpected.

Steve is best man and has been Alex's go-to cyber commiserating buddy since 2013. Together they patrolled the late-night streets of Baltimore, hiked unnecessary distances, and kept the 9th Street Operations Center running in D.C.

Amber has the patience of a saint and can always be counted on to laugh at Olivia’s excellent jokes. Attempts at line dancing are common, great memories are guaranteed.

Isaiah (Ike) is the only adult in this whole wedding party! His culinary talents are legendary and he is a recognized chili making god. His wisdom is dispensed primarily over shared payment of 12 yr. Balvenie.

Pictured above from right to left are Jon, Alex, and Michael. Since the ancient past, the year 2008, these three kept one another sane and saw through 4 years of all-expenses-paid military vacation together. Also pictured above is Jean, Alex's sister, who is just jealous of how cool we were back then.

Jon (left) enjoys apple-cinnamon flavored moonshine, long walks in dusty, remote places, and loud booms. Michael (right) enjoys helping Alex when he is crippled, being pretty much the most badass person around, and traveling to countries that end in '-land'.

Rachel and Olivia bonded over a time that included Rachel’s homemade macaroni & cheese and otherwise questionable life decisions. Rachel is the most fantastic bluntly honest hype-[wo]man.

Rebecca has been the voice of reason since her and Olivia’s days as roommates in Detroit. Failures of Olivia listening have resulted in incidences such as (but not exclusively) chasing a baby mole around a dorm room. Loyalty is extremely strong in this one.
